Writing Contest: Cheryl.

A brief update on the contest. Five AGT members spoke at the writing class. All reportedly did a great job. Educators will decide on the winners but may not have decisions until early January. Cheryl will write a congratulatory letter. The plaques will come later.

The second semester will begin in January for Middle and High School. We will need speakers again. This will be discussed in our January meeting.

Program: Arlene Anderson, author, teacher, and professional singer and guitarist sang two Christmas songs during the evening: “Jingle Bell Rock” and her own “It’s All Because of Mrs. Claus” for our entertainment.

Calendars and pens imprinted with the Authors Guild logo, purchased by Curt and Frank, were shared from the Christmas show.

 Adjournment:

Meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for January 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church.

Respectfully submitted,

Leoma Gilley (Secretary)
