Elizabeth Stiles is a retired teacher, avid reader, aspiring author, mother of hounds, and lover of all creatures great and small. She caught the writing bug in 4th grade, when her teacher helped her publish Fin, her first picture book. Even though its pages were blue construction paper and its cover funky green contact paper (and her only audience was a group of 4th grade writers at an interschool fair), the book was filled with her words and illustrations. An accomplishment that would ignite her passion for writing.

Of course life got in the way. Many years later, Elizabeth’s passion for writing could no longer be shelved. And now, after ten years of revising and editing, she has launched her debut novel, Safe Haven – Where Hope Lives, into the world. And maybe, if this accomplishment continues to fuel her passion, she just might find another story to tell.
