Nolen Rollins


Charles “Nolen” Rollins is the Founder and President of GPS Life Journey, Inc. (GPSLifeJourney.org) and a retired minister. He is a native Tennessean, born and reared in Loudon County.
Nolen is an honors graduate of Jackson Grammar School, Loudon High School, the University of Tennessee, Tennessee Temple Theological Seminary, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is the recipient of the Person of the Year Award 2018 in the Village of Estero (City of 40,000) and the Accomplished Alumni Award 2019 from the University of Tennessee.
Nolen has over sixty years of experience in nonprofit leadership. He has served on the staff of churches and nonprofits in Tennessee, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Georgia, Arkansas, and Florida. He served as the Executive Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, GA, the First Baptist Church of Little Rock, AR, and the First Baptist Church of Naples, FL.
He is a longtime student and teacher of leadership development and a consultant for businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, and religious institutions. Nolen has traveled abroad extensively doing missions and humanitarian work in Russia, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brazil, El Salvador, South Africa, Bosnia, and Canada. He has served on the Board of Directors of numerous non-profit organizations.
He has authored several books, including Purpose, On Granny’s Porch, Boy from Piney, and The GPS Life Journey Workbook, which has been translated into seven languages and has been used in over 25 countries around the world. Nolen and Clarice, his wife of over fifty years, have two daughters and seven grandchildren. They reside in his hometown of Loudon, Tennessee.
