We take a lot of important steps in life. Some are first steps and others are the last ones. But, the most important ones are the ones in between. Unless they’re taken, we get nowhere in life.
Bishop Michael Curry calls the “in between” steps “the dash.” That’s the dash on our tombstone between the date of birth and the date of death. He asks, “What are you gonna do with your dash?”
