The Boone Series Concludes with “Finding Home”

The sixth and final book in the Boone Series, Finding Home, goes on sale today in all the usual places: Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble’s website, Apple Books, and GooglePlay.

I’ll be taking a couple of copies to Union Avenue Books here in Knoxville, and the whole series will be available at festivals I’m scheduled to attend. Also, you can check with your local bookstore and if they don’t have it on their shelves, they’ll be glad to order it for you (as well as the rest of the series).

An excerpt from the Afterword:

“Here, at the end of the series, many people are due thanks and recognition: my wife Suzanne (first reader extraordinaire), my fellow authors at the Author’s Guild of Tennessee, Joel Simmons for his help with Molly’s character, my friend Jim for our ongoing conversations about the series, Tilmer, Sandy, and Annie for their insightful essays in the  box set Stumbling Into Adulthood, Nick Castle for a beautiful set of covers, and the readers who sent emails or sought me out at craft fairs and festivals to tell me how much they were enjoying the series. I’m sure this could be a much longer list. My apologies to those I am failing to mention; your contributions are not lessened because of my faulty memory.

Most of all, my thanks to the young people I had the privilege to know over the years. You taught me as much as I taught you, and I appreciate your allowing me to see beyond the stereotypes to the fine individuals you are. You are stronger, braver, and smarter than you are given credit for being. Remember that. Act on that knowledge.”
