began his writing career at age fifteen when he sold an article to a local newspaper in his hometown of Beaverton, Oregon. At Chapman University in Southern California, he worked as a sportswriter covering high school sports for the Orange County Register. Chuck transferred and graduated from the University of Oregon, where he worked on his first feature film in his senior year. From there, he moved to Hollywood and made a career working in the art department of feature films, including the iconic Thelma and Louise, Wayne’s World, Weekend at Bernie’s, and one of the biggest box office bombs in cinematic history, Howard the Duck.
