AGT will hold its next monthly meeting on February 6, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut.
Our special speaker will be Victoria Griffin whose subject will be self-editing.
Victoria is a fiction author, book editor, and speaker based in East Tennessee. She is represented by Sandy Lu of Book Wyrm Literary Agency. Victoria writes that editing is associated with unpleasantness and is seen as a necessary evil, but self-editing for fiction writers can and should be a joyful experience.
She is the founder of Blue Pen, which provides editing and book design services, and the organizer of the Blue Pen Writers’ Conference. She spends her free time backpacking in the Smokies, hanging out with her husky, and practicing leatherworking.
