Oklahoma Book Festival

I had an incredible experience last Saturday. I attended the 2nd annual Oklahoma Book Festival as a guest presenter. It was only for my latest book, Realms of the Cat, but that was enough. Got my invite last spring after trying for the 1st festival last year. I was part of a panel, signed books, and got to talk to other authors. There were vendors, plenty of presentations and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. When it began, it was raining and blowing, but like Tennessee, this was Oklahoma–if you don’t like the weather, just wait a couple of minutes and it will change. The only thing that was constant was the wind. They included children’s all the way up to adult literature. A very good selection! A lot of in-state authors, but some out of state, too. All in all, a very good learning experience. The picture is of the Oklahoma City downtown skyline taken from the author’s room.
